Email From California---October 21, 2010

Hi!
We spent yesterday driving around LA trying to find famous things!  Here are a few things 
we saw:
Hollywood Sign
Walk of Fame--Including Amy Grant's star!
Chinese Theater (no tours this day!)  :(
Kodak Theater (where Oscars are held)
Beverly Hills
Rodeo Drive
Beverly Wilshire  Hotel (from Pretty Woman)
Dodger Stadium
Staples Center (Where  Lakers play)
Pacific Ocean
Santa Monica Pier
We ate at Subway (They had a rainy day special)--yes, it was grey and rainy all day 
again!  bummer!!


We had a full day, and Joy was perfect!!

No word on when we may be able to come home yet...so we wait, patiently!

Tomorrow we are headed to Sequoia National Park--Jonny has never seen the giant Redwood 
Trees....It's worth the drive!

We love you all!!
Praying we can come home soon!

p.s.  My best friend Keri had her baby today!  Little Hugh Haddon was 7lbs11oz!  So sad 
to miss his birth....but we'll hug him soon!!
