September 2011

My dad shingled the roof of my childhood home in Kentucky!  :)  We are all glad he is finished and is no longer in any danger of falling off!!  :)

Here are my sweet, sweet grandmothers!  They are holding baby Andrew Chandler.....They don't fight over the great grandchildren anymore...not that there are TWENTY!!  :)

Love this picture of my parents!!  They were getting ready to leave on vacation!  So cute!!

Jack loves it when Joy will sit still beside him and watch a Baby Einstein with him!!!  He is in heaven when she does!!

Homeschool started with Sara Kate this month.  I am helping Keri out once a week by doing a little lesson to go along with something they are doing at home.  Today, to go along with the book Good Night Moon, we did a moon phase activity with oreo cookies!!! Jack now always calls them moon cookies!  :)

Here is a full moon and a crescent moon!
Moon crumbs!  :)  Love that smile!

We took our annual trip to Mt. Juliet for a Labor Day visit with all of Jonathan's brothers, their wives, and all of their kiddos!  I've lost count at the minute of how many that is...but feel free to count from the pictures!  :)

Here is our little family--Jack (3)  and Joy (10 months)

Aaron and Johnna's family (my sister, Jonathan's brother)

Adam and Melanie's family

Daniel and Christy's family

Matthew and Melanie's family

The whole crazy bunch!!

The grandkids.....okay, there are 15.  I counted.  (of course, Caleb was not born yet!)

This is Jack's proud face----He is so proud of his little lizard that he caught that is sitting down by his shoes.  So cute!

We took a trip to Kentucky as well during September to see everybody!  Here is Jack with Luke. They are gathering the eggs!!

Jack is mesmerized by Granddaddy's farm equipment!!

Joy was hanging on tight to daddy! Not too sure of all this combine noise!!!

Jack got to ride!!!  Yay, Granddaddy!!!!

Lucy was swinging up a storm!  :)

That is quite the load there, Austin!  Good luck!

It is so sweet to see my kids spending time with their great grandparents!!  Just love these pictures!!

Okay--here are all the Green cousins!!  15 here too!! Mercy!
What a bunch of cuties!!!

Back at home doing regular things!!  :)
Joy hates a bath, as you can see.

Jack sure does love his Joy Joy!!!

It is getting harder to get a good, still picture of Joy!  She is getting quite mobile!!!
But look at all those cute little teeth!!
Sara Kate jumped in and got some sugar from Joy!

More homeschooling!!  Sara Kate is a great student!

Consignment sale.....Oh my!!  All of Jack's outfits for the fall/winter season!

Jonathan is very diligent--especially when it comes to his yard!

When the brothers took their trip to the Ocoee, the kids and I stayed with Aunt Johnna and the girls.  Here we are having an Aunt Ju Ju moment as I tell them a funny story.  :)

My sweet, sweet girl!!

Jack and Joy came with me to celebrate Funis Runis at Westminster!  Jack LOVED seeing everyone....and had a great time.  Joy liked it okay...but she got very sleepy!!  :)

Big girl!!  Eating Cheerios in her big girl high chair!  She will be one next month!!!

I started going through the 3-year old Sonlight books with Jack this month...they suggested these crayons.  I was skeptical, because I could not EVER get him to want to color!  But these fun crayons did help.  He doesn't LOVE to color...but he does color more with these!  This was his first real attempt at a coloring book page!  Pretty awesome!!!

Joy is beginning to develop a little attitude when it comes to getting her diaper changed or when it comes to getting dressed.  She doesn't really like to submit......Sunday mornings always start off a bit rough for her.  Bless her.  Daddy is a patient man.  :)  Bless him too!

Dreaming of a shed......Jack and Jonny are measuring potential dimensions!

Whoo-Hooo!  Chandlers come to visit!!  YAY!!
Off to the zoo with the Chandlers and Aunt Keri, Sara Kate, and Hugh!!

Very cool picture, if I do say so myself!!

Left to right: Matthew, Lucy, Joy, Sara Kate, Hugh, Jack, John David, and Luke

Three babies---three similar strollers!!!!!

Another visit to school to see Daddy!!!!
Think Joy will grow up to play volleyball?  She thought she was ready today!

About to outgrow this little seat!!  :)
