Sweet October brings a precious birthday!!!  Our Joy is turning one!!

Love these sweet, smiley moments!!

Here is Jack cuddling with Daddy....and Joy appears to be in distress.  She is quite often.  Just a little more of that attitude I told you she was developing!  :)

Jonny was teaching Joy "Patty Cake" and Jack was helping!

Zoo trip!!!!!!!!  (It became a very eventful one!!)

Jack gave us quite a scare on this day!  As we were walking through the zoo, we saw my friend Elizabeth Garland.  She went over to hug Jack and told me that he was pulling his gum out of his mouth.  He didn't have any gum...but he did have a wet acorn in his hand.  We walked on, not thinking much about it.  But as we kept walking, Jack's cough got worse and worse and worse. People were looking at us, and Christy began to get nervous that he was having an allergic reaction.  I brushed it off as part of his cold, but it kept getting worse.  Finally, she convinced me to leave the zoo with her and get Jack a Benadryl and a breathing treatment.  She could not hear one of his lungs at all, and was getting upset.  So, we rushed out.  Jack took the Benadryl and had a breathing treatment, and was better instantly.  Then I began to get really upset.  I would have kept walking deeper and deeper into the zoo...!  I am so glad Christy was there with her allergy paraphernalia and that we ran into Elizabeth Garland who noticed the acorn!!!!!!  We went to the doctor on Monday, and he still had a lung that was not functioning correctly.  Scary stuff!  Now he asks me if things (like cookies) have acorns in them!  :)  Sweet baby!!!

Joy falls asleep sitting up and falls over into her bumper pad quite regularly.

The girls and Hugh came over for dinner and doughnuts!!!  :)

Then we had a dance party!!

Hugh and Joy's official birthday party was down at Aunt Keri's house!!

We had lots of guests to wish these sweet babies a Happy Birthday!

(They are only four days apart!)

It is hard to believe "our little pumpkins" are ONE!!

We took a fun trip to the Pumpkin Patch with the Smiths too!  We had a ball!

Happy Halloween!!!  We celebrated again at the Norment's house in Collierville!

We had a great time, as usual!

This year, Joy was a ladybug with her buddy Anna!!

Sweet Jack was a fireman!!!

Sara Kate and Hugh were a farmer girl and her chicken!  Keri and Andrew were from the 70s, and Lizzie was a surfer-girl!

The Gibsons were Cat Woman and Bat Man, a ninja, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift!

And for my all-time favorite costume EVER:  The Walkers (of course)!

Anne was a birthday girl, and Scott was her pinata!  

When she would bonk him with her noodle, he would throw candy! 

Hilarious!!!!  The Norments were really cute as clowns!!

The Hensons really did it big as rockers!!!!  :)

This was Jack's first year to ever go door to door and say, Trick or Treat by himself!!

Singing the birthday song on the xylophone Joy got from Mommy and Daddy!  She loves holding up her finger when you say, One!!

Jack has an obsession with carwashes all of a sudden!!  He has been crazy about them for about three months now!  All he does is build, invent, and create carwashes out of blocks, pillows, furniture!  It is hilarious!! Jack, you make me smile!!!!!
