December is such a busy, busy month----and we are not even home for half of it!
We kicked off the month wishing Joy's birthmom, Sarah, a Happy Birthday!!
Sweet Joy finds the most awkward ways to sleep!!
Yes, this is a long, long car-wash. :) Fortunately, Alexandria is a very good sport when it comes to playing with Jack and indulging his car-wash fantasies! :)
More Homeschool Fun!! This time we made really fun paper chains to count down to Christmas!!!!
Jack had never made a chain before, and he thought is was MAGIC!! :)
Mmmm! Christmas Cookies! Yummy Beaters!
(Love the stools!!)
Jack adores his Sara Katie!!
We made several different kinds, and we had a taste test!!
Even Joy wanted "MORE!"
We went to the Collierville Square with our cookies and had a Christmas Photo Shoot with the beautiful trees!! (And Aunt Ju Ju's cool lens and repaired camera!!!)
The Smiths and the Davises are sure they are meant to always be together!
Finally!!! Jack is old enough (well, almost) to be a sheep in the Christmas Program at church!
He was ADORABLE---but very wiggly. He got so bored at one point, he just decided to lay down!
Here he is just taking a little break. :)
Jack sure does love his TaTa!!!!!
Peek-a-Boo!!
Christmas Love!! (And excitement! Look at Jack's face! So cute!)
Practicing with a walker....
Jack has loves his chores--but he especially loves sorting the silverware!
Another small snow day!!! This one was while Daddy was at school.
It began at 9 a.m. and was gone by noon......Jonathan never even saw it!
I heard Jack come in, but I couldn't find him.....until I looked down!
He was exhausted! :)
So we put on a Christmas Show---Frosty the Snowman!
Jack didn't want to take off his snow gear!
My friends do an ornament swap every year at Anne Walker's house.
It is so fun!! Here is cutie pie Elizabeth showing her ornament off!
This takes some skill...and balance! Good Job, Jonathan!!
We went to the Germantown Baptist Christmas Event, complete with living Nativity and animals. Jack was so mesmerized by Mary, he could not bring himself to take his eyes off of her.....And he just patted and patted her. So sweet!!!
Uncle Adam, Aunt Melanie, Grace Ann, Isaiah, and Hope came by to see us and spend the night on their way to Texas! Uncle Adam was graduating with his Ph.D!!
The Chandlers came and we had our annual Christmas with them and the Smiths. Joy got a really cool tote bag from Lands End from Aunt Keri! Do you see Joy in the bag? So cute!
Santa came to our house while Jack was taking a nap! He woke up to find all the stockings full and presents under the tree and on the hearth! Fun!
We don't do Christmas long at our house because we then pack everything up and head out of town for two weeks!!! The first week we spend in Mt. Juliet with Jonathan's family. The little ones put on a nativity every year! This year, Jack was one of the wisemen!
Joy was a cow! She looks like a Chick-fil-A ad--Eat Mor Chikn! :)
Jack loved playing piano next to Uncle Matthew while we all sang Christmas Carols!
