Wow! Sorry that I have not blogged all the way back to Thanksgiving!! I know some of you are very dedicated followers.....even though you never leave me a message to tell me you are reading! Sometimes I think I am just blogging for my mom, mother-in-law, and Robbin! :)
So...if you are reading let me know! Leave a comment!
This post is really for my mom....who wasn't at her own Thanksgiving Dinner at her own house! :) She was in Huntsville helping Johnna who had just given birth to Amy Kate! So, Mom....these pictures are for you! :) Better late than never!
Jenn and I decorated the tables....and even got out Mom's china! It was fun playing "dress up" with the tables!
To be funny, Dad set up what he called a "memorial" to mom since she was unable to be with us! Dad is such a ham!
The house was FULL of people!! We had well over 30 people eating Thanksgiving Dinner with us that day!
Jack was loving his garden vegetables! Thanks, Grandma!!

Meeing Amy Kate Davis---November 25, 2009
Two days after we got home, we traveled to Huntsville on our way home for Thanksgiving to meet our newest niece, Amy Kate Davis. This could have have been a very hard visit, since we had not come home with the daughter we thought we were going to get....but God was sweet to our hearts, and we felt nothing but joy. We thought the name was fabulous....(it was actually the name we were hoping to use for our first daughter!)...Amy Kate...for my grandmother, Amy...and for Jonathan's grandmother, Kate. (Of course, this works the same for Johnna and Aaron since they have the same grandmothers! :))
Sweet Catherine holding Amy Kate! What a good big sister!
My mom holding Amy Kate with Catherine's approval .....while Jack plays with the princesses (?!!).
Jack got a wee-bit jealous as Daddy held little Amy Kate... but he allowed it.
Jack loves all these new toys...even if they are girly! (He especially loved the kitchen!)

Our Florida Adventure--November 23, 2009
Our world was rocked in November when we got a call about a baby girl in Florida that needed a home. I can't even explain how much prayer, thought, and consideration went into this situation. The whole event took place within a three week period with miracle after miracle occurring...The hand of God was so very evident. However, we found ourselves driving home with an empty car seat and lots of unanswered questions....yet sure of one thing: God is sovereign and so very, very good. I'm not going to write the whole saga here, but here are a few pictures from our trip. The pictures are from Giordano's in Orlando....and from the condo in Panama City Beach.
