After reading the book, Misty of Chincoteague, we celebrated by having our own pony auction...just like in the book! A big thanks to Mrs. Teri Walker who was our real-live auctioneer!!

I am the publisher of this site which I produce with some of my journalism students here. We live near Chincoteague. It is not directly a school project. We just posted a new story last week about the most expensive pony ever auctioned off. I have not been able to post a comment but am trying again. Robert Boswell
