Jonathan and I just got back home from our completely fabulous party at the Dolans' home in Northfield! (FYI--In case you don't know, Diane Dolan is our repceptionist at St. Norbert School! AND she is one of my very favorite people ever!! She also helped me decorate my kitchen!)
Diane's party was complete with water balloon throwing, egg tossing, sack racing, basketball playing, zip-line zipping, trampoline jumping, and moonwalk walking (and crashing!). It rained all morning---and we were all a little concerned about the weather, but it ended up being BEAUTIFUL!
Lots of hugging and talking and laughing--and a little bit of crying.....(okay, sometimes there were lots of crying!)....Plenty of food and drinks. It was such a great day of visiting with everyone! Jonny met a LOT of people--He really enjoyed himself!
At the end of the party, we watched a precious video of St. Nobert folks, the kids quoted memory verses and sang songs......and THEN Diane had the song Auld Lang Syne play---and the kids filled a basket with cards and contributions to the Davis "Adoption Fund!" (Just like It's a Wonderful Life!) It was quite an overwhelming moment!
I have certainly had the time of my life with my family at St. Norbert! So many of you said to me today that God had used me in the lives of your children and family--Words which blessed my heart to hear. But please know that God has truly poured out His grace to us today through you and your great love for us! We are truly humbled at your generosity and kindness to us!
We love you dearly!
Love,
Julie
p.s. If you ever do pop on this site--be sure to leave us a comment, so we know who is keeping us with the Great Adventure of Mr. and Mrs. Davis! We would love to chat!

Hi Julie and Jon! I'm so sorry I wasn't able to see you to wish you all of the best with your move. I will certainly miss seeing you both at Calvary, and the small groups. Take care and God bless!
