The Greek Feast

The Greek gods meet on Mt. Olympus......Let the Games BEGIN!

More Olympics

Here are some happy girls in their lovely togas!

The whole happy Newsome family.....and Peter!

Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Lang ruled the day!

Here Peter is taken down by an unlikely hero!

The Chariot Races

This was the highlight of the day---the Chariot Races!!

(My cousin) Sam and Pan Ke's wedding was beautiful! Pan Ke is stunningly beautiful...and even sweeter than she is pretty! It was so fun being with everyone again..... We couldn't stay long because we had to get home and finish the house so we could pass our final inspection. But the time we had together was precious!!

Here are Uncle Tom, Aunt Lois, Sam, Pan Ke, Russ, Karen (Sam's sister), and their baby, Anna Grace.

Sam and Pan Ke changed into traditional Chinese garments during the reception.

Off on their quick honeymoon!!

My favorite hat to wear.....

is being AUNT JU JU to all these sweet babies!!

Countertops!!

With our countertops installed, it is beginning to feel really finished around here!! The company came to measure one day, and two days later they were installing our shiny black granite!

Trim and Paint!!

Our trim and paint are finished, and we are very pleased with the finished product! The colors are Blonde and Wild Bamboo by Sherwin Williams, Vanilla Bean by Farrell Calhoun, and Olive Branch by Benjamin Moore.

Pat Jones, a friend from church, designed our trim. He did a great job and we love it!

Our Last Floor to Lay

Finally!!! Now that the hearth is finished, we can complete our hardwood floors!! Jonny is displaying the very expensive (rented) floor gun that was indispensible during this process!
