Watching Daddy Mow!---April 30, 2009

Jack sure does enjoy springtime outside! He LOVES sitting in the grass....even crawling around in it! He always gets really quiet when we take him outside. He will sit with us forever and just take it all in! He loves to listen to birds, watch bugs, turn his head at every passing car.....and then flash us a big grin! What a sweetie!!

Today's adventure was especially exciting!! Daddy was mowing...and Jack just loved watching his daddy in the yard stirring up lots of dust!! (Not much yard out front right now!!) :)
Our sweet neighbor, James, let us borrow his riding mower! But shhh! Don't tell Jack! He is so proud of that big Cub Cadet!! :)

My Flower Baskets!---April 2009

When I returned home from Kentucky, these beautiful flower baskets were there to greet me! Jonathan had prepared an early Mother's Day gift!! I should really post an update to these...they are so much bigger and fuller now!! :)

Visiting Kentucky! ---April 28, 2009

Jack and I took a break and went to spend several days in Kentucky to visit Grandma and Granddaddy Green! Jack loved spending time with his cousins-- Luke, John David, and Lucy! He loved all the new toys (well, new to him....lots of them were Jack's mommy's toys from the 70s!) :) Oldies but goodies!!
Jack had a ball playing in Grandma's little tug boat.....
.......maybe too much fun! He went straight from squealing and playing to this face!! You never know when the urge will hit you!! Fortunately, this poopy was quick and relatively painless...but the face was priceless!! :)

On Tuesday night we headed down to Grandmother's for her famous "Tuesday Night Supper!" We enjoyed seeing Uncle Tom, Aunt Lois, Karen, Russ, Anna, Billy, Uncle Al, Aunt Jen, and the cousins!! And the food was sooo yummy!!
He doesn't look confused...but do you think he knows he is sitting in Aunt Lois's lap.....not Grandma's?? :)

Jack spent some good quality time with Great Grandmother Amy during "Tuesday Night Supper." She even got on the floor to play rock-a-stack!! Then Jack let her rock him...something he rarely lets us do!

Jack loved seeing himself with Granddaddy in the mirror!! This was causing us all to laugh!!

Jack just loved spending time with Grandma everyday!! I got lots of work done on the yearbook...in fact, I started and finished the first 15 pages while in Kentucky!! Hooray for fast internet!! :)
