Lizzie was busy creating masterpieces and licking her sweet fingers!!

Sara Kate plans her gingerbread man very carefully!

Anna is quite the artist!!

Don't eat all that icing, Anna! You silly girl!!

Making gingerbread cookies at Ju Ju's while mommy does some Christmas shopping is a great way to spend the afternoon!!

Let's eat!!

Jack's 4-Month Pictures--Dec. 5, 2008

Hey!! I turned 4 months old on December 5th!!

I love to stand up! Mama doesn't want to rush it...but it sure is fun!!
Here I am telling Daddy that I'm ready to stop taking pictures!
I'm obviously ready for bed here---The tell-tale signs are as seen below: One hand rubbing my ear, and my thumb in my mouth!
Goodnight!!

Jack plays Baby Jesus!!---Dec. 3, 2008

Here are two sweet angels holding the little baby Jesus!

Lizzie, Anna, and Sara Kate just love that sweet baby Jack!!
Daddy couldn't be prouder!
Nor could mama!
Can you find Lizzie??
See Anna?
See Baby Jesus?? (Love that holy pacifier??)

The Marlows Come to Visit--Dec 2, 2008

On her way home from Thanksgiving, Joann, Austin, and Arianna stopped by our house in Mississippi (Scott was on a mission trip in Mexico).

Austin fell in love with Jack's teddy bear that Miss Tara made. He had to have it every second!! He surely loved that big, soft bear!!

Ariana is such a cutie!! She was quite mobile too....and Aunt Ju Ju's house isn't very crawl-proof!

Ariana and Austin gave me goodnight kisses before we all went to bed! I wish they were not leaving tomorrow!!

Happy Thanksgiving from KY!---Nov. 29

Well...it is my first Thanksgiving, but my second big celebration! Everyone has eaten lots of food, and my mommy and daddy keep saying how they are so thankful for me!! I am thankful for them too! And we are all thankful to my birthmom, Jessica! I'm also thankful to find out that all of this drool evidently has a purpose--Mommy told me that it might mean I will be cutting teeth soon! (Whatever those are!!)

Here is my mommy and all of her sisters and cousins! Aunt Joann, Aunt Johnna, Aunt PanKe, Aunt Karen, Mommy, and Aunt Jennifer are very happy to be together again!

The kiddy table!! Catherine, John David, Luke, and Austin are thankful that they got to get their food first!! Arianna and Anna got seats all to themselves!! :) One day I will be able to sit with them!!
The big boys were allowed to eat on the carpet in the den!! Uncle Al, Uncle Aaron, Daddy, Uncle Russ, and Uncle Sam enjoy the time they get to spend together. They are probably talking about football!!

This food is what all the big people and all the big kids ate! I personally prefer formula!
And this is where I sat during dinner! I was thankful to eat earlier than everyone!! Plus, I love, love, love to swing!!

After dinner, I got to play with my Grandma, my Great Grandma, and my Great Grandmother. Here I am visiting with Great Grandmother!

My daddy takes such good care of me! I love him so much!

Here I am with my girl cousins that were born in 2008 too! Lucy and Claire will surely be fun to play with next year!!
Aunt PanKe loves to hold me...and all the other babies too! I bet she'd take me home if mommy would let her!
Here is Catherine and Luke.

Here's a great picture of John David and Catherine!
Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving too!! Mommy says Christmas will be even better! I can't wait!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving--Nov. 27, 2008

Happy Thanksgiving! This year we offered to host Jonathan's family for Thanksgiving. We were so excited to host a big dinner party again!! Johnna, Aaron, Catherine, and Claire came early to help out with some of the details. Catherine, Johnna, and I worked hard on the apple pie crust. Catherine even made her own mini pie!

We only had to have enough seating this year for eleven (as opposed to 21 last year!), and because we got a new table with two big extensions, we all could sit at one table!

We continued our tradition of having two turkeys--one smoked and one roasted. Andrew did a great job again this year with the smoked turkey! It smelled incredible!

The rosemary-garlic turkey was as moist as ever! Too bad Thanksgiving is the only time you can find turkeys for 35 cents a pound!

A big spread complete with the turkeys, mashed potatoes, dressing, sweet potatoes, sweet corn, cranberry sauce, and homemade rolls. Mmmmmm! I'm always so amazed at how LONG it takes to make all the food, and how little time it takes to eat it all!

But there is always room for dessert...even if it is a few hours later!!

We are so blessed with a sweet, sweet family!!

Daniel, Christy, Hannah, and Benjamin!

Poppy with Baby Jack! What a happy Thanksgiving this has been!! LOTS to be thankful for!

Sisters, sisters....never were there such devoted sisters......(of course we also count Joann and Jennifer too!!).

Aaron, Johnna, Catherine, and Claire!

Grammy and Baby Claire!
Thank you, God for such sweet, sweet days!
